This lesson plan worked well for my students. We needed more time as many of my students are not able to work together outside of class together.
I did not make any adaptations to the lesson other than increasing the time and setting some limits on the types of presentations to avoid repeating facts or being too far from the core subject.
Cross curriculum is most often only limited by time and imagination. Literature links would help with producing better written research, history may have some interesting cases of our uses of those currents plus the use of the evidence to support the idea of climate change.
I liked the inquiry induced by this lesson. My students were active and interested in the topic.
