These materials include brochures, fact sheets, and project summaries. They also may be informal educational materials designed to instruct the public on basic science concepts. Many outreach materials listed here are available online. Hard copies of those that are not available online can be obtained by request.
In general, reports, journal articles, maps and charts, surveys, assessments, abstracts or conference proceedings, and formal educational products are not treated as outreach materials (see instead the Publications section of this Web site.)
