The Future: Sustaining a National Ocean Policy

This was the seventh and final “Ocean Future” constituent roundtable hosted by Dr. Richard Spinrad, Assistant Administrator, NOAA's National Ocean Service (NOS). The roundtable focused on “sustaining a national ocean policy” and included discussion on NOS’s strategic vision as a Global Leader in the Integrated Management of the Ocean. NOS programs cover a broad range of scientific, technical and management activities. NOS is also leading efforts in the development of ocean observation and modeling systems, and in educating the public about the importance of these activities.
